I have been to Laurelmor and can't tell you how beautiful it is and what a great community Ginn is developing there.

I live in Blowing Rock, and the word about town, from those in the know, is that Laurelmore may be nevermore. They lost alot of wind from their sails in the last 12 months, and a few of their larger contractors have filed liens against Bobby Ginn & Co. for back pay. Be cautious, or you could wind up as the proud owner of a million dollar lot in the middle of an empty 7000 acres.
We deal with "the word about town" on a daily basis. It's a matter of seeing all of the progess being made every day on site for yourself. We have a standing invitation for all brokers and local residents to come into our office and let us take you on a tour of the property. You'll see that 6 houses are under construction, 9 of our golf holes are carved out and we are nearing completion of water, sewer and underground utilities installation.
I am the "proud owner" of a homesite in Laurelmor and couldn't be more pleased with the progress on site thus far...In fact, I am amazed at the speed of the development for such a large undertaking...The golf course appears to be ahead of schedule for its opening!!Obviously "anonymous" hasn't been out on site in a while, if ever, and has decided to make comments that have zero justification or truth to them...The proof is out there folks...Go see it!!
